Maryland Terrapins

They say that connections mean everything. If Mike Locksley plays his cards right, he may just experience this first-hand.

In 2018, Locksley served as the offensive coordinator under Nick Saban at Alabama. And his greatest attribution to the Crimson Tide wasn’t his pristine play calling, but rather his ability to recruit.

Locksley played a major role in signing Tua Tagovailoa to Alabama in April of 2018.

There’s certainly a connection, and after watching the success that his brother accomplished, it’s easy to see why Taulia would like to play at Maryland under Locksley.

If the Tagovailoa family trusted Locksley with their firstborn son, why wouldn’t they trust him with their second?

The Terrapins currently have two quarterbacks that will fight for the starting position in 2020, but Tagovailoa will likely surpass both to claim the spot if he decides to do so.
