Tell any Georgia Bulldog fan that they have no reason to be so proud not having won a national championship since Ronald Reagan was president, and you’re just asking for trouble.
There may not be a fanbase in the entire nation with as much endless optimism as the Bulldawg Nation and they don’t care what you try rubbing in their collective faces about how long it’s been since a title.
Every time they expand Sanford Stadium, Bulldog fans fill it up and then some. Spike Squad, Dawg Walk, Light Up Sanford, and more pregame and in-game rituals than you can shake a steak bone at, attending a Georgia game is filled with spectacles to behold.
On top of having one of the most fearsome fan crowds in the conference, there is no one who travels as well as Georgia’s red and black army. Filling and taking over visiting stadiums is now a regular thing for the Bulldogs’ traveling fans.
When Kirby Smart finally breaks through and brings another national title to Athens, this fanbase will go absolutely berserk, and the UGA Spike Squad may get the national attention they’ve long deserved.
