SEC Football Fan Rankings: Texas A&M
Since joining the SEC in 2012, Texas A&M fans have been a shining example of a loyal fanbase who simply loves their team, good or bad.
Every year you can count on Aggie Nation making themselves heard, not so much in taunting anyone else, but by simply expressing devotion to their team – the way it’s supposed to be done.
Midnight yell practices have now become a staple tradition in the SEC and Kyle Field is one of the go-to destinations for fans who love to travel to games.
Under Jimbo Fisher, the Aggies haven’t quite turned the corner towards championships fans hoped for after Kevin Sumlin was fired, but they still have faith and support both their team and their coach.
Probably the only “bad” thing to say about this fanbase is that their biggest rival (Texas) isn’t even on their schedule anymore and they really haven’t drummed up much of a rivalry with anyone other than old Southwest Conference foe Arkansas, who really isn’t much of a foe to anyone right now.
Still, this is a proud and exciting fanbase and has been a great addition to a conference ripe with tradition. Here’s to the original 12th Man.
