Florida Gators

Make no mistake about it, the University of Florida definitely prides itself as DBU- and with good reason. They’ve been the hot bed for defensive backs across the nation for years now.

The Gators have earned the reputation due to the sheer amount of talent that they have managed to consistently field year in and year out.

And the reputation shows when you begin to look at the broad spectrum of elite high school cornerbacks and safeties that are greatly intrigued by the thought of putting on a blue and orange uniform.

You could argue that the DB dynasty began in 2007 with Reggie Nelson, Tony Joiner, and Joe Haden patrolling the deep field.

And to this day, the Gators have maintained that level of intensity in the secondary.
