SEC Football’s Defensive Back University

There you have it Gator Nation.

At the beginning of this article I stated that people lie, numbers don’t. And after cutting up the statistics, it’s clear to me that Florida has performed at a higher standard than their counterparts.

Even though the Gators have the shown major inconsistencies on the offensive side of the ball, there’s one thing that they’ve always been able to hang their hat on- secondary play.

And that should continue going into the 2020 season with the return of veteran cornerback Marco Wilson and rising star Kaiir Elam. It will be up to them to carry on the Gators’ defensive back dynasty.

But for short, you can just call it DBU.
