SEC Football Predictions: Texas A&M Aggies

For the past few years, the Aggies have been somewhat of a disappointment. The fans’ high hopes have continuously been met with mediocre performances that end with plenty to be desired from.

But as Kellen Mond enters his final year with Texas A&M, the Aggies truly feel that this could be their season. In 2019, Mond finished 3rd for the entire conference with 2,897 yards.

Thankfully, the Aggies have one of the easiest schedules in the Western division that should prove to be helpful as they grind away at the tedious SEC schedule which features out-of-conference games against a number of inferior teams.

If Fisher is able to pull off a big win against Auburn in the middle of the season, he could be looking at a potential undefeated season up until the final two stops of the season- which feature LSU and Alabama.

With that being said, we should see some refinements, but still not enough to make a push for the conference championship.

As a whole, A&M still isn’t as polished as Auburn and Alabama, although I do have them beating LSU in College Station for the final game of the year- if that means anything?

Projection: 9-3 (5-3, SEC)
