SEC Football Predictions: Alabama

Realistically, if LSU didn’t have one of the greatest seasons in the history of college football, it’s likely that Saban and the Tide would have found themselves as Playoff contenders, once again.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and losses to LSU and Auburn proved to be costly as the Tide ended the season with a Citrus Bowl win against Michigan.

Now that Joe Burrow is out of the way, it looks like Alabama will continue to go back to their bullying ways within the SEC.

With Mac Jones taking over the offense, it seems that anything is possible.

Most importantly, the dominant Najee Harris will be making a return as a potential Heisman candidate and the leading weapon for Alabama.

On defense, the Crimson Tide should be as deadly as ever.

In 2019, the Tide went without both Dylan Moses and Josh McMillon due to injuries, but will finally see the two back in action for the 2020 year.

If Nick Saban can win all of the games he’s expected to win, (all of their games) we can expect to see a dominant Alabama return.

Projection: 12-0 (8-0, SEC)
