. 609-629-50 (.492). . Commodores . 13. team. 887

SEC Football No. 13 – Vanderbilt Commodores

National Wins Rank: 58th
National Win Pct. Rank: 96th (No. 14 in SEC)
Most Wins vs SEC Opponent: Kentucky (42)
Most Losses vs SEC Opponent: Tennessee (76)
Best Record vs SEC Opponent: Auburn (.500)
Worst Record vs SEC Opponent: South Carolina (.138)

An SEC football list that Vanderbilt doesn’t come in last on is a rarity, although their win percentage is still the worst in the conference. Just imagine what these numbers would be without the James Franklin years.

It’s tough being a fan in Nashville.

12. team. 850. . 613-586-44 (.511). . Gamecocks

SEC Football No. 12 – South Carolina Gamecocks

National Wins Rank: 55th
National Win Pct. Rank: 82nd (No. 11 in SEC)
Most Wins vs SEC Opponent: Vanderbilt (25)
Most Losses vs SEC Opponent: Georgia (51)
Best Record vs SEC Opponent: Vanderbilt (86.2 percent)
Worst Record vs SEC Opponent: Texas A&M (.000)

It’s hard to imagine where South Carolina might fall on this list were it not for the Steve Spurrier era in Columbia. Right now, 12th in wins and 11th in win percentage, at least coming in over .500 with their .511 mark.

Nationally in wins, the Gamecocks sit at 82nd, but they’ve made a lot of strides in the last couple to decades.
