SEC Football No. 5 – Auburn Tigers

National Wins Rank: 13th
National Win Pct. Rank: 19th (No. 6 in SEC)
Most Wins vs SEC Opponent: Mississippi State (61)
Most Losses vs SEC Opponent: Georgia (60)
Best Record vs SEC Opponent: South Carolina (.875)
Worst Record vs SEC Opponent: Alabama (.446)

Auburn is one of the old guard of the SEC, so it’s no wonder they rank so highly in overall wins and in win percentage. The 60 losses to Georgia are part of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry that includes 124 meetings between the two.

Despite a losing record to Alabama in the Iron Bowl, Auburn does have one of the best overall records against the Tide in the SEC.

817. . 812-415-47 (.656). . Tigers . 4. team

SEC Football No. 4 – LSU Tigers

National Wins Rank: 12th
National Win Pct. Rank: 13th (No. 3 in SEC)
Most Wins vs SEC Opponent: Mississippi State (73)
Most Losses vs SEC Opponent: Alabama (53)
Best Record vs SEC Opponent: South Carolina (.881)
Worst Record vs SEC Opponent: Alabama (.339)

LSU is one of only four SEC programs with over 800 total wins, and they are part of four consecutive SEC teams in the top 13 nationally — sandwiched between Auburn and Georgia, with all sitting behind Tennessee.

The Tigers record is particularly impressive not by just the sheer number of wins, but by the number of quality teams they face year after year. The Tigers always play a tough schedule and yet still manage to rack up the Ws.
