SEC Football No. 1 – Alabama Crimson Tide

National Wins Rank: T-3rd (Texas)
National Win Pct. Rank: 5th (No. 1 in SEC)
Most Wins vs SEC Opponent: Mississippi State (84)
Most Losses vs SEC Opponent: Auburn, Tennessee (T-37)
Best Record vs SEC Opponent: Kentucky (.938)
Worst Record vs SEC Opponent: Auburn (.554)

What a shock, Alabama sits on top. Again.

Do Tide fans ever get tired of this? Apparently not.

Only two teams in the nation have more overall wins than Alabama — Michigan and Ohio State — with Alabama just a couple of percentage points behind them in overall record.

Incredibly, there is not a single SEC team who Alabama has a losing record against, and there are seven different programs that Alabama comes in as their biggest nightmare opponent in terms of losing percentage.

That’s how you dominate a conference, and that’s how you win 17, or 21 or however many national championships Alabama fans want to claim. It’s a lot.
