4-star EDGE Quincy Rhodes Jr commits to Arkansas Football
The No. 3 overall player in the state of Arkansas according to the 247Sports Composite, Rhodes Jr is rated as a four-star edge rusher from North Little Rock High School in Arkansas. A versatile athlete at 6-foot-5, Rhodes Jr has seen time on both sides of the ball in recent years, playing both tight end and defensive end.
As mentioned previously, Rhodes Jr is rated as the No. 3 overall player in the state of Arkansas, as well as the No. 303 player nationally and the No. 26 overall edge rusher nationally. Having interest from multiple schools, Rhodes Jr committed to Arkansas over other schools such as Arkansas State, Jackson State, and Memphis, each of which he held an offer.
With the addition of Rhodes Jr, the Razorbacks have secured their ninth commitment of the 2023 class, good for third nationally at the moment according to 247Sports Team Rankings, as well as second in the SEC behind only Georgia. Included in this Top 3 ranked class is one other defensive lineman in three-star Kaleb James from Mansfield, TX, with Rhodes Jr now not only the Razorbacks’ second defensive line commit, but also their third highest rated commit in their 2023 class overall.
In addition to this, Arkansas now holds commitments from three of the top four players in the state of Arkansas for the 2023 recruiting cycle, a group that also includes four-star tight end Shamar Easter (Ashdown, AR) and three-star offensive lineman Joey Su’a (Bentonville, AR).
