2022 SEC Tournament Semifinal Round Predictions

No. 1 Auburn vs No. 4 Arkansas

A rematch of Arkansas’ 80-76 win over the Tigers in Fayetteville back in early-February, this is certainly one of the most-anticipated potential rematches that we could see at the 2022 SEC Tournament. The Razorbacks topped the Tigers in a back-and-forth contest that featured some special performances from the likes of Notae, Kessler, Smith, and more previously, would it happen again in yet another likely close contest? Prediction: Auburn

No. 2 Tennessee vs No. 3 Kentucky

After Kentucky blew-out Tennessee in Lexington back in mid-January with a season-high 107 points, the Volunteers returned the favor with a 76-63 win in Knoxville nearly a month later. If this matchup were to now happen on a neutral court, you could certainly argue that it is a toss-up between the Volunteers and Wildcats, one that is likely a lot closer than the previous two meetings. Prediction: Kentucky

No. 1 Auburn vs No. 3 Kentucky

As mentioned previously, this is the game that a majority of college basketball fans want to see happen in the 2022 SEC Tournament. A rematch of the previously mentioned game in Auburn in which the Tigers won, this game is certainly a toss-up on a neutral court, with the winner receiving not only the SEC Tournament championship, but also a likely No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Prediction: Kentucky
