6 SEC Basketball commits to watch for during the 2022 McDonald’s All-American Game
Nick Smith
The second-highest rated recruit in Arkansas history, the 6-foot-4 combo guard is rated as the No. 6 overall player in the nation from in-state North Little Rock High School. An elite player on both ends of the floor, the five-star is coming off a senior season in which he averaged 26.5 PPG, 8 RPG, and 7.3 APG to earn multiple honors that include National Player of the Year finalist.
Chris Livingston
A five-star prospect from Oak Hill Academy, Livingston is rated as the No. 7 overall player in the country, as well as the top player in the state of Virginia. A versatile forward at 6-foot-6, Livingston averaged 18.1 PPG, 9.1 RPG, and 3.2 APG during his senior season, and will be attending Kentucky next season.
Cason Wallace
A five-star prospect with a similar skill-set to Smith previously, Wallace is a Kentucky commit who is ranked right behind Livingston as the nation’s No. 8 overall player. The top player from the state of Texas, Wallace averaged 19.9 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 6.1 APG, and 2.4 SPG for a Richardson High School team that went 32-2.
Brandon Miller
The No. 3 highest-rated recruit in Alabama history, the five-star is an accomplished player from the state of Tennessee who averaged 26.3 PPG, 7.9 RPG, and 2.4 APG this past season at Cane Ridge High School. The top player from the state of Tennessee, Miller is also rated as the No. 11 overall player nationally. (NOTE: Another Alabama commit, Jaden Bradley, will reportedly not be playing due to injury)
Jordan Walsh
An Arkansas commit, the five-star averaged 15.3 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 3.1 APG this past season for a Link Academy team that went 33-1. A versatile forward at 6-foot-7, Walsh is also rated as the No. 18 overall player nationally.
Anthony Black
Having announced his commitment to Arkansas on Monday night, Black is one of the top players in the state of Texas who played at one of the nation’s top teams, Duncanville. The nation’s No. 22 overall player, the five-star is considered as one of the top point guards in the 2022 class, and is coming off a season in which he averaged 13 PPG, 5 RPG, 3.5 APG, and 2 SPG.
