2017 – Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett

The second No. 1 overall pick on this list, the former Texas A&M defensive end was selected with the top pick back in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

A day one impact edge rusher for the Browns, Garrett has collected double-digit sacks in every year of his five-year career but one (rookie season in 2017), and is coming off a 2021 season in which he totaled 51 tackles and 16 sacks across 17 games, both of which were career-high’s. A three-time Pro Bowler and two-time First Team All-Pro, Garrett is entering his sixth season with Cleveland in 2022.

2016 – Georgia OLB Leonard Floyd

A player who had a phenomenal seven sacks as a rookie, Floyd was selected by the Chicago Bears with the No. 9 overall pick back in 2016.

Floyd would remain with Chicago through the 2019 season where he totaled a combined 154 tackles and 18.5 sacks, and has spent the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. Coming off a Super Bowl last season with the Rams, Floyd enters his third season with Los Angeles in 2022 where he has collected a combined 20 sacks across the last two years.
