2013 – Texas A&M OL Luke Joeckel

SEC Football’s highest-drafted offensive lineman across the last 10 years (tied with Auburn’s Greg Robinson in 2014), Joeckel was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Joeckel would go-on to appear in a total of 39 games with Jacksonville from 2013-16, as well as 11 games with the Seattle Seahawks during the 2017 season. Joeckel last played in the NFL with Seattle during that 2017 season.

2012 – Alabama RB Trent Richardson

Similar to Joeckel previously, Richardson is SEC Football’s highest-drafted running back across the last 10 years as the former Alabama standout was selected No. 3 overall back in 2012 by the Cleveland Browns.

Rushing for 11 touchdowns as a rookie, Richardson’s time in Cleveland would not last long however as he was traded to the Indianapolis Colts a year later where he would go-on to appear in 29 games in 2013-14. Despite time with the Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens in 2015-16, Richardson last appeared in an NFL game back in 2014 as a member of the Colts, and last-played professionally with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL in 2017 and the Birmingham Iron of the AAF in 2019.
