SEC Basketball: Updated offseason power rankings for 2022-23 season

At the time of writing the previous power rankings, LSU had recently landed a few names that included two Murray State transfers in Justice Hill and Trae Hannibal. The Tigers have since added two additional transfers in Cam Hayes and Derek Fountain, as well as two incoming four-star freshman in former Xavier commit Tyrell Ward and former Florida commit Jalen Reed who could both be day one starters for LSU next season.

Texas A&M has had two key players enter the transfer portal recently in guards Hassan Diarra and Marcus Williams. Even despite having yet to add anyone new, the Aggies still have all the pieces needed returning to be one of the SEC’s better teams this upcoming season.
