Florida Football and new head coach Billy Napier picked up two big recruiting wins on Saturday afternoon by landing two in-state prospects from the state of Florida. With both commits coming on the offensive side of the ball as well, both of these two additions could easily make an impact with the Gators in 2023.

Florida Football lands in-state recruits Knijeah Harris and Creed Whittemore

As mentioned previously, the Gators added two commitments to their 2023 class on Saturday afternoon, coming from in-state prospects Knijeah Harris and Creed Whittemore.

A four-star prospect out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Harris is considered as one of the top interior offensive linemen in the state of Florida. Whittemore on the other hand is a quarterback out of Buchholz High School in Gainesville, but is rated as one of the top athlete’s in the state of Florida with the potential to play multiple positions at the next level. A dual-threat standout at the quarterback position, Whittemore threw for a total of 2,101 yards and 24 touchdowns a year ago, while also rushing for 763 yards and eight more scores in one of Florida’s top classifications.

The third and fourth additions to Florida Football’s 2023 recruiting class, the Gators now have three commits from the state of Florida joining three-star Eustis wide receiver Tyree Patterson. Joining those three is the highest-rated of the group in long-time Florida commit Aaron Gates, a four-star ATH from Trinity Christian School in Sharpesburg, GA.
