1. Georgia vs Oregon

The defending National champs open up the season against the Pac-12 runner up from last season.

The Bulldogs will most likely be heavy favorites but they can’t fall into the same trap Ohio State did last year.

In week 2 of the 2021 season, the Buckeyes were 14 and a half point favorites at home against the Ducks.

Oregon won the game 35-28, shocking most of the college football world and proving anything can happen in these non-conference games when unfamiliar teams face off.

They’ll look to do the same thing against the Georgia Bulldogs who lost a lot of talent to the NFL draft this past April.

Georgia set a draft record with 15 players selected in a 7 round format. They had 5 defensive lineman.

But Oregon lost a major piece as well. Head coach Mario Cristobal left and took his talents to South Beach to accept the Miami Hurricanes’ job.

Although to make up for it the Ducks did get former Auburn quarterback Bo Nix in the transfer portal.

Nix is a familiar face for the Bulldogs and might not be enough to push the Ducks over the hump.

All in all, this is a winnable game for Oregon if they can out together a complete game but if Stetson Bennett can make enough plays, the Bulldogs will come out of Atlanta victorious.
