Arkansas Football: Where offseason transfers are playing 2022 season

Arkansas Football brought in a few notable players through the transfer portal this offseason such as Drew Sanders, Jadon Haselwood, and more. However, where are the Razorbacks’ players that entered the transfer portal this offseason set to play in 2022?

Where are Arkansas Football’s offseason transfers playing in 2022?

Offense

  • RB Trelon Smith – UTSA
  • QB Lucas Coley – Houston
  • RB Josh Oglesby – Stephen F. Austin
  • WR Darin Turner – Alabama A&M
  • OT Ray Curry Jr – Alabama State
  • WR Kendall Catalon – TBD

Running back Trelon Smith is undoubtedly the biggest name on the offensive side of the ball transferring as he will join UTSA after rushing for a combined 1,308 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Razorbacks the last two seasons. A majority of the other names will likely compete for starting spots next season, with former three-star recruit Lucas Coley transferring to Houston as arguably the most-notable other transfer destination.

Defense

  • CB Greg Brooks Jr – LSU
  • DL Solomon Wright – Oklahoma State
  • DT Jalen Williams – Southern Miss
  • EDGE Mataio Soli – Hawaii
  • CB Devin Bush – Grambling State

  • S Jermaine Hamilton-Jordan – TBD
  • LB JT Towers – TBD
  • CB Nick Turner – Toledo
  • LB Andrew Parker – Appalachian State

The defensive back duo of Joe Foucha and Greg Brooks Jr will both likely start for LSU this upcoming season, while Solomon Wright could also see time at Oklahoma State. Many of the other names on this list will all likely see time with their respective teams next season, with defensive lineman Mataio Soli potentially set for a breakout season at Hawaii.
