The 2022 NBA Draft has now officially come and gone, with SEC Basketball ranking among college basketball’s top conferences when it comes to the number of players selected. Which players from the conference were selected on Thursday night, and which team did each land with?

The SEC saw a total of eight players selected across the first and second rounds of the 2022 NBA Draft on Thursday night, the second most of any conference. The conference trailed only the Big Ten who saw a total of nine players selected, one more than the SEC, with a full breakout of the conference totals listed below.

Taking a deeper look as well, the SEC ranked second among all conferences when it comes to players selected in the first round in particular, trailing only the ACC by one. Also included in the first round were two picks each from Auburn and Kentucky, with the Tigers and Wildcats as two of only five schools to see more than one player taken in the first round (joined by Duke (4), Arizona (2), and Kansas (2)).
