Texas A&M Aggies

Looking back at the 2022 recruiting cycle, Texas A&M brought in one of the greatest single classes that SEC Football has seen in recent memory, one that included eight total five-star recruits, one of which was at the cornerback position.

The Aggies are once again off to a strong start in the 2023 cycle, holding a total of five commitments, each of which are from the state of Texas. In fact, Texas A&M has not landed a recruit from the state of Alabama since 2019 when four-star Ke’Shun Brown committed to the Aggies.

Should Mitchell commit to the Aggies however, it would only add to what is shaping up to be an Aggies secondary that will be loaded with talent entering the 2023 season. For a Texas A&M team looking to take the next step to a national title contender as well, adding a player in the back end of the defense the caliber and versatility of Mitchell would not hurt either.

Already holding two Top 100 cornerbacks in the 2023 class in four-star’s Bravion Rogers and Jayvon Thomas, could Texas A&M potentially add yet another in Mitchell?
