Taking a look at the SEC Football recruiting trail, the month of June was one where a few teams within the conference picked up multiple commitments to rise up the 2023 class rankings. Alabama Crimson Tide

June Commits

  • 5-star CB Tony Mitchell
  • 4-star OT Wilkin Formby
  • 4-star WR Cole Adams
  • 3-star ATH Brayson Hubbard
  • LB Justin Jefferson
  • WR Perry Thompson

While the first half of the month of June may have been a quiet one for the Crimson Tide on the recruiting trail, the second half however was the exact opposite as Alabama added a total of six commits from June 20-30, five of which came from the 2023 class.

Looking at those commits, the headline name from this group is obviously five-star cornerback Tony Mitchell, an in-state product who is the Crimson Tide’s second five-star commit at the position. Alabama also added another in-state player in four-star offensive tackle Wilkin Formby from local Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, as well as a four-star wide receiver in Cole Adams who is one of the top players in the state of Oklahoma.

As for the other names, three-star ATH Brayson Hubbard is a fast-rising player from the state of Mississippi, while Justin Jefferson is one of the top JUCO linebackers in the 2023 class. Perry Thompson is the first commit in the Crimson Tide’s 2024 class, a 6-foot-3 wide receiver from in-state Foley High School.
