SEC Football: Alabama, South Carolina among biggest June recruiting winners

Taking an overall look at the past month, there were no SEC Football teams who added more commits to their 2023 class during June than South Carolina, with the Gamecocks picking up nine total commitments during that span.

Headlining that group are the duo of Grayson Howard and Kelton Henderson, two four-star prospects from the state of Florida who are currently the Gamecocks two highest-rated commits in South Carolina’s 2023 class. The Gamecocks also added two other notable commits from the state of Florida in three-stars Connor Cox and Cameron Upshaw, as well as two players from the state of Georgia in three-stars Jalon Kilgore and CJ Adams.

The Gamecocks also added one in-state player during the month of June in Judge Collier, a three-star ATH who is rated among the top players in the state of South Carolina. Three-star Kamron Sandlin is also a versatile player from the state of Alabama, while Isaiah Jatta is the Gamecocks second offensive line commit in their 2023 class.
