SEC Football has a rich history in college football including a pretty decent sized list of Heisman trophy winners.

The SEC has 15 Heisman trophy winners, with 6 of them winning the National Championship in the same season they won the award.

They also have 13 runner-up finishes and last year became the second conference to have three consecutive winners.

Top 5 SEC Football Heisman Trophy winners of all-time

Now, with the 2022 season starting up next month, I decided to create a list of the 5 best SEC Football Heisman trophy winners of all-time, focusing on the individual’s season, their winning, and overall collegiate legacy.

NFL success was not considered because while it may effect how a player is remembered to some fans, it doesn’t impact their college legacy which is the focus of this list.

So with those parameters in place, I looked through the history books and made the list.

And without further ado… from Frank Sinkwich in 1942 to Bryce Young in 2021, and all those in between, here’s the top 5 Heisman trophy winners from the SEC.

Honorable Mentions: Bo Jackson, Steve Spurrier, Derrick Henry
