Auburn Tigers – Zach Calzada

The Tigers have still yet to decide who will start on the Plains in 2022, but if you had to make an argument for 2023 as of this point, the pick would likely be Calzada. The Texas A&M transfer could easily win the starting job for Auburn this fall, and should he become the Tigers starter this year, Calzada would likely be the favorite entering 2023 as well.

Florida Gators – Jack Miller

If Anthony Richardson were to potentially return to Gainesville for the 2023 season, there would be no doubt as to whom the Gators starter would be. However, should Richardson depart for the NFL, Florida will also have a quarterback competition next offseason between notable names such as Miller, who transferred from Ohio State this offseason, as well as incoming four-star Marcus Stokes.

Georgia Bulldogs – Brock Vandagriff

Georgia is also a team that will likely see an intriguing quarterback competition next offseason as the Bulldogs will have to replace a multi-year starter at the position in Stetson Bennett. The potential favorite in that competition will likely be Vandagriff, a former five-star in the 2021 class, but the then redshirt sophomore will have to beat out both Carson Beck and Gunner Stockton to win the starting job.
