Jalen Kitna

Florida Football also has two other quarterbacks to know on the depth chart that could potentially see time this season, the first of which is Kitna.

A redshirt freshman, Kitna originally came to Florida as a three-star prospect in the Gators 2021 class, but did not see time a year ago. One of the Gators bigger quarterbacks at 6-foot-4, Kitna will likely compete for the QB3 spot on the Florida depth chart during the fall, and could potentially see time in 2022 in a limited role.

Max Brown

The second of those two names is Brown, a true freshman who comes to Gainesville as a three-star prospect in the Gators 2022 class.

The lone quarterback in that class, Brown comes to Gainesville from Lincoln Christian School in Oklahoma where he was one of the state’s top quarterbacks a year ago, throwing for 2,750 yards with a 41:4 TD:INT, while also rushing for 1,343 yards and 20 scores. Brown will likely compete with Kitna for the Gators QB3 spot during the fall, and could also potentially see time in 2022, coming in a limited role.
