One of the top wide receivers in the state of Florida, Aidan Mizell is set to announce his commitment on July 29 from a final list that includes three SEC Football teams in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.

A four-star prospect in the 2023 class, Mizell is coming off an impressive junior season at Boone High School, one in which he caught a total of 47 passes for 1,003 yards and 18 touchdowns. One of the fastest wideouts in the 2023 class at 6-foot-2, how would Mizell fit in with each of the Crimson Tide, Gators, and Volunteers?

Alabama Crimson Tide

A team that has an extensive recent history of going into Florida to land elite-level wide receivers, could Mizell potentially be the next wideout from the Sunshine State to commit to the Crimson Tide?

Currently holding commitments from two wide receivers in the 2023 class, not only would a potential commitment from Mizell be Alabama’s third wideout in this class, but it would also be the Crimson Tide’s first commit from Florida as well (four-star safety Elliot Washington flipped to Penn State).

As for the fit with the Crimson Tide, there is no denying that Mizell would fit right in with the recent prototype of speedy Alabama wideouts, as well as a name that could instantly make an impact. Yes, the Crimson Tide’s 2023 wide receiver room will be deep once again, but it always seems that at-least one freshman wideout makes a key impact during their first season every year, with Mizell as a name that could do just that in 2023.

The Crimson Tide might not be the favorite to land Mizell at the moment, but if they were to pickup the four-star, there is no denying how impactful the speedy wideout could be in the Alabama offense.
