Quarterback

Starter: KJ Jefferson

Backup: Malik Hornsby/Cade Fortin

Jefferson returns as the Razorbacks starter coming off a breakout 2021 season in which he threw for 2,676 yards with a 21:4 TD:INT, along with 664 yards and six touchdowns rushing. As for the backup spot, Hornsby returns for his redshirt sophomore season in Fayetteville, while Fortin is an offseason transfer from South Florida.

Running Back

Starter: Raheim Sanders

Backup: Dominique Johnson

Sanders is coming off an impressive freshman season, one in which he rushed for 578 yards and five touchdowns on 114 attempts. Johnson could also see a significant numbers of opportunities this season, coming off a breakout 2021 campaign in which he rushed for 575 yards and seven touchdowns.

Wide Receiver

Starter: Jadon Haselwood, Warren Thompson, Ketron Jackson Jr/Matt Landers

Backup: Isaiah Sategna, Malik Hornsby/Quincey McAdoo, Ketron Jackson Jr/Matt Landers

Haselwood, an offseason transfer from Oklahoma, could be the Razorbacks top producer at wide receiver this season, while another transfer in Matt Landers (Toledo) could also play a key role. The Razorbacks could also get creative by using Hornsby, a backup quarterback, at wide receiver at times, while two true freshman, Sategna and McAdoo, could force their way onto the field early in the year.

Tight End

Starter: Trey Knox

Backup: Hudson Henry

Knox will be the top receiving option for Arkansas at tight end after catching 20 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown a year ago, while Henry could also play a significant role.

Offensive Line

Starter: Luke Jones, Brady Latham, Ricky Stromberg, Beaux Limmer, Dalton Wagner

Backup: Devon Manuel, Jalen St. John, Marcus Henderson, Terry Wells, Ty’Kieast Crawford

The Razorbacks will have an experienced offensive line this season, with multiple starters set to return from a year ago, a group headlined by Stromberg who is one of the top centers in the SEC. Depth should be a strength for Arkansas Football along the offensive line this season as well, with true freshman such as E’Marion Harris and Andrew Chamblee also names to watch for.
