Deuce Hogan

While the starting job in Lexington is 100% known entering the fall, the backup spot you could say is a bit of a question mark due to lack of experience, with Hogan as the name likely sitting atop that conversation.

A former three-star prospect in the 2020 class, Hogan originally began his collegiate career at Iowa where he has spent the last two seasons. Transferring to Kentucky during the offseason, Hogan did not see any playing time with the Hawkeyes in 2020 or 2021, and comes to Lexington as a redshirt sophomore.

Looking ahead to 2022 however, Hogan is likely the favorite to be the backup quarterback for the Wildcats this season, one who should see his first collegiate action this fall.

As for how much time Hogan will see in 2022 however, it will likely come in a limited role for the redshirt sophomore.
