Kentucky Football 2022 Season Preview: Quarterbacks
By Matt Melton
Kaiya Sheron
There are two additional names alongside Hogan as backups on the Wildcats depth chart, the first of which is Sheron.
A redshirt freshman, Sheron did not see time with the Wildcats a year ago, but could easily see limited action in 2022 however. Sheron is a former three-star in-state prospect from the 2021 class who was considered among the top players in Kentucky out of high school.
Destin Wade
The final name to know in Kentucky Football’s quarterback room is that of Wade, the lone player at the position in the Wildcats 2022 recruiting class.
Wade comes to Kentucky as a four-star prospect out of Summit High School in Tennessee where he was considered as one of the top overall athletes in the state a year ago. Should Wade see time this season for the Wildcats, it would likely come in a limited role.
