Trey Sanders

A former five-star prospect in the 2019 class, Sanders enters his fourth season in Tuscaloosa coming off what-was a breakout 2021 campaign for the now redshirt junior.

After missing part of the 2020 season, Sanders rushed for a career-high 314 yards and two touchdowns on 72 attempts a year ago for the Crimson Tide, while also catching six passes for 55 yards. Including his time from the 2020 campaign as well, Sanders enters 2022 having rushed for a combined 448 yards for the Crimson Tide across the last two seasons.

One of the more experienced names in the Alabama Football backfield, Sanders is likely set to receive a similar workload to a year ago this season and should be a major piece for the Crimson Tide at the running back position.

Overall, expect Sanders to eclipse his yardage and touchdown total from last season as well, with the redshirt junior as one of two names that you label as the Crimson Tide’s RB2 entering the year.
