Emmanuel Henderson Jr

Alabama Football also has two true freshmen set to take the field this fall at the running back position, the first of which is Henderson.

A four-star prospect, Henderson comes to Alabama as one of the top running backs in the 2022 class out of in-state Geneva County High School, as well as one of the top players in the state of Alabama. Henderson could see time with the Crimson Tide this season at running back, but it would likely come in a limited role based on the amount of experience returning at the position this season.

Jamarion Miller

Likely the final name to know in Alabama’s 2022 running back room is that of Miller, the second of those two true freshmen.

Also a four-star prospect, Miller comes to Tuscaloosa out of Tyler Legacy High School in Texas where the freshman turned in an accomplished high school career rushing for 4,688 yards and 47 touchdowns from 2018-21. Similar to Henderson, Miller could see a limited amount of action at the running back position this season as a freshman.
