The Commodores primary starting quarterback across each of the past two seasons, Seals returns to Vanderbilt also entering his junior season this fall.

As mentioned previously, Seals originally began the 2021 season as the Commodores starter at quarterback, starting the first six games of the season before suffering an injury. For the year overall, Seals would appear in a total of eight games with the Commodores, completing 56.7% of his passes for 1,181 yards with a 5:8 TD:INT.

Having started in a combined 16 games across the last two seasons, Seals enters his junior year at Vanderbilt having passed for a combined 3,109 yards with a 61.1 CMP%. Having thrown for 17 combined touchdowns as well, Seals has however struggled with turnovers during his time in Nashville, accounting for 18 total.

As mentioned previously, Seals is likely set to see time once again in 2022. However, it is likely to come in a backup role with Wright named the Commodores starter entering the year.
