SEC Football fans, week one is here, meaning that we have finally reached the start of the 2022 college football season. Also, what better way to start the year than with a week one slate that is loaded with intriguing matchups?

Before we get to those matchups however, we have to introduce our SEC Football power rankings for the 2022 season, beginning here with the preseason edition.

SEC Football preseason power rankings for the 2022 season

A short look at each SEC team, the preseason power rankings will provide not only a look back at last season, but also key names returning this season, as well as a preview of week one.

As for what these power rankings will look like going forward as well, they will be updated each week during the 2022 season, with new updates happening every Sunday morning, aside from this week. This week’s update, the first of the season, will be released on Monday morning due to LSU playing Florida State on Sunday night.

The updates each week throughout the season will include any possible changes in ranking from the previous week, a recap of that previous week’s game, and a look ahead to the next week.

So, with that out of the way, let’s get to the rankings. Here are our preseason SEC Football power rankings for the 2022 season.
