SEC Football: Preseason predictions for the 2022 season

Who do we think will win the 2022 SEC Football Championship?
Matt Melton – Alabama
Alabama has won the last two SEC Championships, as well as a total of eight since the 2009 season. The Crimson Tide should be the preseason favorite to win their third consecutive in 2022, and based on recent history, it’s almost impossible to not pick Alabama to make a return trip to Atlanta this season.
Jonathan Lurensky – Alabama
The Tide are hungry after losing last year to Georgia in the national championship game. Look for Bryce Young to lead the Tide to an SEC championship in his final season at Alabama.
Patrick Previty – Alabama
The Crimson Tide seem like the right team here. With Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. being the best players in the country on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, Alabama is in good hands.
