August Commits:

  • 3-star SF Arden Conyers
  • 3-star PF Collin Murray-Boyles

South Carolina was one of SEC Basketball’s biggest recruiting winners a month ago after landing five-star GG Jackson, and the Gamecocks feature here once again this month. That is because the Gamecocks landed a total of two commitments to their 2023 class early in the month, being the lone SEC team to land multiple commits during August.

The success for South Carolina during August began early in the month when the Gamecocks landed Collin Murray-Boyles, a three-star forward who is one of the top players in Utah. That would continue for South Carolina the very next day as the Gamecocks would then add another three-star forward in Arden Conyers, one of the top in-state prospects in the 2023 class.

The lone two commits in South Carolina’s 2023 class at the moment, both Conyers and Murray-Boyles should each have a chance to contribute for the Gamecocks as freshmen in 2023-24, at-the-least coming in a rotational role. Having added notable commitments across each of the past two months as well, what does September now have in store for the Gamecocks?
