12. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 12

Auburn is one of SEC’s biggest talking points coming out of week three as the Tigers fell to Penn State on Saturday afternoon on their home field, 41-12. A game in which the Tigers struggled by committing four turnovers, Auburn was outscored by the Nittany Lions 27-6 in the second half, and would only lead once, which came midway through the first quarter.

The Tigers will now open SEC play Saturday as Auburn will host Missouri. A game that they will likely be favored in, Auburn will need a bounce back performance in week four, and this is a matchup where it could very well happen.

11. South Carolina Gamecocks

Previous Ranking: 11

South Carolina dropped their second consecutive game Saturday afternoon, falling to Georgia at home, 48-7. Falling to 0-2 in SEC Football play, the Gamecocks never trailed in the contest, and were almost shutout on their home field as South Carolina did not score until the :53 mark of the fourth quarter.

The Gamecocks now turn their attention to Charlotte in week four where South Carolina will be a big favorite. Expect the Gamecocks to get back on their winning ways as well, and win by at-least two touchdowns.
