12. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 12

As mentioned previously, Auburn escaped with a win on Saturday afternoon, beating Missouri by a final score of 17-14. Winning the game in overtime, this was very easily a game that the Tigers could have lost as well, with Auburn being shutout for three straight quarters after taking a 14-0 lead in the first, while also compiling only 217 yards of total offense.

Auburn will remain at home for the fifth straight game in week five as the Tigers will welcome LSU to Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night. The Tigers will undoubtedly have to play better against LSU in hopes of advancing to 4-1 overall.

11. South Carolina Gamecocks

Previous Ranking: 11

After having dropped each of their first two SEC Football games, South Carolina got back on their winning ways last Saturday with a 56-20 win over Charlotte. A game in which the Gamecocks dominated the 49ers in the second half, outscoring Charlotte 36-6, South Carolina rushed for a total of 295 yards in the contest, a group led by a monster game from running back Marshawn Lloyd (15 carries, 169 yards, 3 TD).

The Gamecocks will once again be big favorites in week five as South Carolina will host South Carolina State. This is a game in which the Gamecocks should win by a similar score to this past week.
