10. Florida Gators

Previous Ranking: 10

Florida dropped their second game of the season last Saturday, falling on the road to Tennessee 38-33 in a Top 25 matchup. Even despite the loss however, this was a notable performance for the Gators offensively, as Florida compiled 594 yards of total offense, with quarterback Anthony Richardson throwing for 453 yards while accounting for four total touchdowns.

The Gators will now return home where they will be heavy favorites against Eastern Washington in week five. Expect the Gators to win this matchup by multiple touchdowns.

9. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 9

The Bulldogs did exactly what they were expected to do during week four against Bowling Green, defeating the Falcons by a final score of 45-14. A game in which Mississippi State never trailed, the Bulldogs’ passing game was once again a big talking point in the contest, highlighted by a 409 yard and six touchdown performance from quarterback Will Rogers.

Mississippi State now returns to SEC Football play in week five as the Bulldogs will host Texas A&M in Starkville. This will arguably be the Bulldogs toughest test yet this season, with a potential upset a real possibility, especially if the Mississippi State passing game has a similar performance to last Saturday.
