6. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 4

The Razorbacks suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday as Arkansas fell to Texas A&M, 23-21. Despite jumping out to an early 14-0 lead, the Razorbacks were shutout across the second and third quarters, and missed a potential go-ahead field goal late in the fourth quarter to fall to the Aggies.

Arkansas will now turn their attention to a massive week five contest on their home field as the Razorbacks will host Alabama. A matchup that the Razorbacks have struggled in recent years, an upset is a potential possibility, but it will likely take a complete Arkansas performance for it to happen.

5. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 6

Speaking of the Aggies, Texas A&M was one of this week’s most notable risers, jumping a spot up to No. 5 after their 23-21 win over Arkansas inside AT&T Stadium. While not the most impressive performance from the Aggies offense, Texas A&M was able to come away with the win, led by a 23-0 shutout of the Razorbacks across the second and third quarters.

The Aggies will now travel to Mississippi State in what could potentially be a dangerous matchup for Texas A&M. The Aggies will certainly have to play a complete game on both sides of the ball to win, especially on offense should Texas A&M and Mississippi State get into a high scoring contest.
