4. Tennessee Volunteers
Previous Ranking: 5
The other notable riser of the week was Tennessee, as the Volunteers remained undefeated with a 38-33 Top 25 win at home over Florida. This was yet another impressive performance from the Tennessee offense, a group that was led by a strong game from quarterback Hendon Hooker (22-of-28, 349 yards, 2 TD, 13 carries, 112 yards, 1 TD), and posted 576 yards of total offense.
Tennessee now enters their bye week with a 4-0 overall record, as well as 1-0 in SEC Football play.
3. Kentucky Wildcats
Previous Ranking: 3
Kentucky also remained undefeated in week four as the Wildcats topped Northern Illinois last Saturday by a final score of 31-23. Despite the score being closer than most likely expected, the Wildcats however just remain in the No. 3 spot coming off this performance, one that included four touchdown passes for quarterback Will Levis, with two apiece going to Tayvion Robinson and Barion Brown.
The Wildcats now travel in week five to Oxford for a Top 25 matchup with the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday afternoon. Despite being ranked as the higher team, this is a dangerous matchup for the Wildcats, and they will need to play similar to week two when Kentucky defeated Florida in Gainesville in hopes of leaving with the win.
