2. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 2

Alabama opened SEC Football play in a big way last Saturday night by posting a dominant 55-3 home win over Vanderbilt. The Crimson Tide were led by notable performances from players such as Bryce Young, Ja’Corey Brooks, and Will Anderson Jr, and would overall outgain the Commodores in total yardage, 628-129.

The Crimson Tide will now travel to Fayetteville for a Top 25 matchup with Arkansas in week five, a matchup that could be dangerous for Alabama. Yes, the Crimson Tide will be the favorite, but Alabama will certainly have to play better on the road compared to week two against Texas.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 1

While the gap is certainly very slim between the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs entering week five, Georgia remains at the No. 1 spot coming off a 39-22 win over Kent State. Despite the win, this was not the most impressive performance from the nation’s top ranked team as Georgia would commit three turnovers, with this game being a lot closer than most imagined.

Next. South Carolina, Tennessee among recruiting winners. dark

The Bulldogs will return to SEC Football play in week five as Georgia travels to Columbia for a Saturday matchup with Missouri. Georgia will likely be a big favorite, with the Bulldogs likely winning this game by at-least two touchdowns.
