10. Florida Gators

Previous Ranking: 10

The Gators won their third game of the season Sunday afternoon, defeating Eastern Washington by a final score of 52-17. A game in which Florida posted 600+ yards of total offense, the Gators held a 35-3 lead at halftime over the Eagles, and trailed only once in the contest, which came early in the first quarter.

Looking for their first conference win, Florida will host Missouri on Saturday afternoon in a game where the Gators will be favored. Assuming Florida’s offense from this past Sunday shows up against the Tigers as well, the Gators should get that first SEC Football win of the year.

9. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 5

Texas A&M dropped the most of any SEC Football team in this week’s update, with the Aggies coming off a 42-24 road defeat at Mississippi State. Never leading in the contest, Texas A&M once again struggled on offense against the Bulldogs by committing four total turnovers, while also being outscored 14-0 in the first half.

The Aggies will now travel once again during week six as Texas A&M is set for a Saturday night showdown in Tuscaloosa with Alabama. Texas A&M will likely be a big underdog playing against what will be a motivated Crimson Tide team, and will have to play their best game of the season in order to win, especially on offense.
