SEC Football: Texas A&M, Auburn among biggest September recruiting winners

Alabama Crimson Tide

September Commits:

  • 4-star WR Jalen Hale
  • 4-star DL Jordan Renaud 

Alabama added two commitments to their already top ranked 2023 class during September in four-star’s Jalen Hale and Jordan Renaud, both of which come from the state of Texas. Both Hale and Renaud are considered as Top 100 players in the 2023 class, with both also now being the Crimson Tide’s highest-rated commits at their position.

LSU Tigers

September Commits:

  • 4-star OT Zalance Heard 
  • 4-star CB Zion Ferguson 

LSU added four-star in-state offensive lineman Zalance Heard, a Top 100 player, to their 2023 class, as well as four-star cornerback Zion Ferguson to their 2024 class. Heard is the highest-rated offensive line commit in the Tigers 2023 class, while LSU’s 2024 group was strengthened even more during September, a group that is one of SEC Football’s best at the moment.

Ole Miss Rebels

September Commits:

  • 4-star S Braxton Myers
  • 3-star LB Skielar Mann

The final team on this list is that of Ole Miss, as the Rebels also landed two commitments during September, headlined by four-star safety Braxton Myers out of Coppell High School in Texas, the third-highest rated commit in their 2023 class. The Rebels also added Skielar Mann, a three-star linebacker out of Peach County High School in Georgia.
