12. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 12

After nearly pulling off a massive upset over Georgia a week ago at home, Missouri dropped their third straight game on Saturday as the Tigers fell on the road at Florida, 24-17. A game which the Tigers made interesting late in the fourth quarter, this was also Missouri’s third straight loss by one possession (17-14 loss at Auburn, 26-22 loss vs Georgia).

Looking ahead, Missouri will not play in week seven, with the Tigers entering their bye week with a 2-4 overall record, as well as 0-3 in SEC Football play. Missouri will return to action in week eight where the Tigers will host Vanderbilt.

11. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 7

Coming off their third consecutive loss on the road to Mississippi State, the Razorbacks saw one of the biggest drops of any SEC Football team in this week’s update. Falling to the Bulldogs by a final of 40-17, Arkansas was without starting quarterback KJ Jefferson in the contest, and would never lead against Mississippi State, as the Razorbacks fell into a 21-0 deficit in the first half that they would never come back from.

Now 3-3 on the year, the Razorbacks will travel once again during week seven, this time out west to Utah for a showdown with BYU. You could make an argument that this is a game that Arkansas should win, but the Razorbacks will undoubtedly have to play better to do that, especially if Jefferson is out once again.
