4. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 5

Rising a spot, the Wildcats will return to action coming off a bye week this Saturday night as Kentucky will travel to Knoxville for a Top 25 showdown with Tennessee. The Wildcats are likely the underdogs in this contest, and will undoubtedly have to play their best game of the season in order to leave Neyland Stadium with a win.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 3

After suffering their first loss of the season a week ago, Alabama got back on their winning ways Saturday with a 30-6 home win over Mississippi State, one in which the Crimson Tide never trailed. In fact, Alabama carried a 24-0 lead into halftime, as well as the Crimson Tide defense did not allow any points until the final play of the game.

With the win, Alabama now sits at 7-1 on the year, as well as 4-1 in SEC Football play entering their bye week. The Crimson Tide will return to action on November 5 with a road trip to LSU for a head-to-head matchup that has been one of the conference’s best across the last decade.
