2. Tennessee Volunteers

Previous Ranking: 2

Remaining at No. 2, Tennessee did exactly as you’d expect during their week eight matchup against UT Martin, defeating the Skyhawks by a final of 65-24. The Volunteers would carry a dominant 52-7 lead into halftime during the contest, and would also outgain UT Martin in total yardage 696-392.

Tennessee will remain at home for the third consecutive week this Saturday as the Volunteers are likely favorites against Kentucky. One of the SEC’s top week nine matchups, this is a game that the Volunteers should win, but a potential upset should not be counted out either.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 1

Top-ranked Georgia will return to action this Saturday coming off a bye week, facing off against rival Florida in Jacksonville. The Bulldogs are likely a two-touchdown favorite at-the-least, and should win this game to remain unbeaten entering their week 10 showdown with Tennessee in Athens.
