Ahead of the initial College Football Playoff rankings being released on Tuesday night, we take a look at the latest update of our 2022 SEC Football power rankings, one that is headlined by a rise from both Arkansas and Missouri coming off big wins Saturday.

Arkansas, Missouri rise in Week 10 SEC Football power rankings

14. Vanderbilt Commodores

Previous Ranking: 14

We begin here at No. 14 with Vanderbilt as the Commodores did not move a spot coming off their bye week. Having lost four-straight entering the week, the Commodores will return home for a matchup with South Carolina, one in which Vanderbilt will likely be at-least a one-to-two touchdown underdog.

13. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 13

Remaining in the No. 13 spot, Auburn dropped their fourth consecutive game Saturday, falling at home to Arkansas by a final score of 41-27. A one-possession game at halftime, the Tigers were outscored 24-14 in the second half, with the third quarter being costly for Auburn in particular as they were shutout 14-0, with Arkansas as a result carrying a commanding 31-13 lead into the game’s final quarter.

The Tigers will now travel next Saturday to Starkville where Auburn will take on Mississippi State. Auburn will certainly be the underdog in that matchup, and will undoubtedly have to play better, especially defensively where the Tigers have allowed a combined 43.7 PPG across the last three games.
