SEC Football: Arkansas, Missouri rise in Week 10 2022 power rankings

12. Florida Gators

Dropping a spot in this week’s update, Florida suffered their fourth loss of the season Saturday as the Gators fell 42-20 to top ranked rival Georgia. Aside from the third quarter where the Gators went on a 17-0 run, Florida struggled at times in the contest, and even held a 28-3 deficit as they entered halftime.

The Gators will now travel this Saturday to College Station for a matchup with Texas A&M. This will be only the fourth meeting between the two since Texas A&M joined SEC Football back in 2012, with the Aggies having won the previous two games (most recent in 2020).

11. South Carolina Gamecocks

One of the biggest teams to drop this week, South Carolina fell a total of four spots to No. 11 coming off their 23-10 home loss to Missouri. A game in which South Carolina never led, the Gamecocks were only able to put together 203 yards of total offense, as well as be left off the scoreboard in both the first and fourth quarters.

With their previous four-game winning streak now snapped, South Carolina will travel during week 10 where the Gamecocks will face Vanderbilt in Nashville. The Gamecocks will likely be a road favorite, with this a game that you could argue they should win by at-least a touchdown.
