SEC Basketball fans, we have finally reached the start of the 2022-23 season. Yes, after a long offseason, the 2022-23 SEC Basketball season is officially set to tipoff this upcoming Monday night, November 7.

One of college basketball’s toughest conferences, the SEC has continued to evolve on the hardwood, with this upcoming season being arguably one of the most intriguing in recent years. Why you ask? Well, it’s quite simple – there are anywhere from 4-5 teams who could potentially win the regular season title this season.

Add to that the fact that the SEC could also potentially send anywhere from 7-9 teams to the NCAA Tournament this season, and it’s clear why this season should be a strong one for the conference.

So, before the season officially begins Monday night, we would like to introduce our SEC Basketball power rankings.

Preseason SEC Basketball power rankings for 2022-23 season

As for what these power rankings will look like going forward, these will be updated every couple of weeks throughout the 2022-23 season, with updates likely coming every week in particular during conference play.

So, with all of that being said, let’s get to the rankings. Here are our preseason power rankings for the 2022-23 SEC Basketball season, beginning with No. 14.
